Roseberry Day 1

We only had two days between events to unload and load both trucks with everything we would need for several venues. Rob and I and the kids would be spending most of the week (Wednesday through Sunday) in Donnelly for a Folk Festival and Kurt would be taking care of Nampa Nights as well as a stage and light set up at the fairgrounds in Boise over the weekend. This is one of the festivals I have been looking forward to this summer. . . It's always more relaxing when we leave everything set up for several days instead of taking it all down and packing it up just a few hours after getting it all out. Kurt and his kids came up to help us unload the truck and set up.

We are providing the canopy, the lights and the audio for this 3 day festival:

Growing up in Idaho, I've been to McCall dozens of times. . . it's amazing to me that I had never heard of historic Roseberry, a little town just a mile outside of Donnelly. It is in the process of being restored to the way it looked 75 or more years ago and it was very interesting and educational to explore. I managed to take these gorgeous sunset pictures while we were setting up:

The kids had a great time hanging out together and Gloria was very sad when it was time for Hailey to go home. . . I didn't even have to make them pose for this one:

We managed to set up everything but audio on the first day leaving us plenty of time to be ready by the 4:00 sound check on Thursday.
