I finally thought of a way to thank Jody (vendor from The Cherry Festival) for all of his kindness last week. I made a basketful of cookies and Rob and Dale and I drove out to Weiser to deliver them in person. Jody has his corn dog stand set up out there for the Fiddle Festival and he was easy to find. It was really nice to see him again and he was touched by the cookies.
The rest of the day flew by and I met Steph and Alyssa at the church in the late afternoon so we could practice for VBS. The theme this year is "Avalanche Ranch". Almost every song has a motion with a lasso, so the girls worked on perfecting this move:
