Another weekend of being triple-booked! On Friday, August 21st, we had 3 events: a stage and canopy set up in Mt. Home, a lighting package in Emmett and a big festival at Brundage. Kurt took his brother-in-law to Mtn. Home to set up there, Rob and Zach hit Emmett on the way up to Brundage and I ran errands that were needed for the event and caught up to them just outside of Horseshoe Bend where they picked up Tyler. . .
It was sloooooww going. . .
The set up wasn't bad once we finally got there. . .
Gloria had decided to stay with Grandma for the weekend and it was a good thing she did. Really nice people but not really a family friendly event. . .
So much work. . .
So much work. . .
All work, no play . . .
One of the best things about this event for me was that someone else was in charge of covering the stage and providing the lights. We brought up our ellipsoidals and some par cans but we ended up not using any of our cans at all. Unless you've coiled up 100 feet of heavy socapex cable (the cable that the par cans get their power from) you can't fully understand how happy it made me that we didn't have to use our lights!!!!
We were finished before midnight, in plenty of time for the Saturday noon start time. . .
