He spent some time reassuring her that the tool he used to cut off the cast would be very loud but it wouldn't hurt. It didn't seem loud to us- much quieter than the routers and saws we are used to hearing!! She wasn't the least bit worried. . .
It felt really good to have that itchy cast off! It didn't help that the cast had gotten wet several times making it stinky as well as itchy!!
The x-ray came back showing that the arm is healing really well. Dr. Mike decided in favor of a brace rather than a cast for the next couple of weeks which should make life much easier. She is supposed to wear it all the time but she can remove it to take a shower or any time she might get wet.
Gloria also went to VBS at Meridian Friends several nights this week. She met some new friends and saw many of her friends from camp. She had a great time and it was so convenient since MFC is right around the corner from our house . . .
