Good-bye . . . For Now. . .

Today we had our last horse lesson. . . the last time I would harness up Cookie out in her little pen. . .

. . . the last time she would let me lead her out of her little gate. . .

. . . and into the barn. . . at least, for now. . .

It wasn't the last time I would brush her and put on her saddle and bridle because this time the students had to do it themselves. . .

In fact, today was the day the kids had a chance to show off everything they've been learning this year. . .

We all walked out to the big arena where the kids would have a chance to cheer each other on as they walked and trotted their horses through all of the games they've been learning. . .

Even Rob and Zach came along to watch the fun. . .

These kids have had a lot of fun together during the last 6 months. . .

It's been fun watching them all go through the process of feeling comfortable on and around the horses. . .

Gloria is really going to miss Buttons. . .

I'm really going to miss Kim and Sarah. The parents and kids all chipped in to buy them a little something to remember us by. . .

. . . three wheel barrows and a rake!!!!!

Group hug. . .

Good-bye new friends. . .
. . . good-bye baby goats. . .
. . . good-bye big, fat turkey. . .
. . . good-bye Cookie. . .

For now. . . (at least until our new set of lessons starts up after spring break. . . )
