It's always just a little more difficult to put all of this up again when we just took it all down. Adding to the frustration, we only have three hours to put up something that takes about 5 hours on a good day.

Both kids pitched in to help. Zach is almost tall enough to really help with the canopy.
In the midst of all of these shows, we are still trying to run a business which includes meeting with clients, returning phone calls and keeping up with the calendar that is still filling up even though our busy season should be over. Rob had a meeting today with Curtis Stigers who will be at the Egyptian Theater sometime next month. I admit, I'm a star-gazer, so I had to take this picture. I'm not a star-stalker, though, so it's kind of hard to see who it is from this distance!
Once the canopy was successfully raised, I sent the kids in to see a movie as a reward for their hard work. On to the (ugh) stage:

We beat the clock and were ready to go 10 minutes before the event start time. The band is The Solution Brothers. This is a block party for the Fiesta Bowl Documentary so the BSU band, dancers and cheerleaders put on a show:

Will this be in Gloria's future??? I think she thinks so. . . .

The event was scheduled to run from 5-8 but the promoter got disgusted with the poor turn-out and shut it down at 6:45. We put all of this up just to take it all down after an hour and 45 minutes. . . .

We took our time taking it down since we were all so tired. Gloria hammed it up for the camera:
Zach had the hard, dirty job of crawling around under the stage taking off the clamps:

He's done a great job today and he has the dirty hands to prove it:

Tomorrow will be a recovery day. I hope.
