We survived June!!! The rest of the summer should be smooth sailing. We have a couple big shows coming up and at least one date that is triple-booked, but having all of the June events successfully behind us is a big relief. VBS was fun, but it's also one more summer thing that I can cross off the list. The kids sang four of their VBS songs in church this morning and had a lot of fun with it. All of the youth helpers came up, too, which made it even more fun for me!!

After church we had a potluck and business meeting and then we went home to just hang out. I took a big, fat nap and the kids let me!! We have several days of the same ahead of us and I'm really looking forward to it!
