Summer Kick-Off Event

Our busy season has officially started. Not that we didn't stay busy all winter long, but the first Nampa Nights always signals the start of crazy-busy, non-stop events that take most of the winter to recover from. Nampa Nights was our first "real" sound gig in May of 2004. Back then, we used borrowed speakers and a conglomeration of this, that and the other and somehow managed to pull it off even though I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Every May I'm reminded of our shaky beginning and thankful that someone gave us a chance. ( I think. . . ) The rest is history.
The first band of this summer concert series was The Soul Cats. They are very talented and quickly became one of our favorite bands when we heard them for the first time last summer. They have also been booked at Star Mule Days and The Emmett Cherry Festival which are both coming up very quickly at the beginning of June. (This will be our third year running sound for Mule Days and our second year at the Cherry Festival).

The weather didn't cooperate very well on Thursday as it was blustery and cold. The few people who stuck it out enjoyed a great show.

Kurt and Rob have been working together for several weeks now and I have high hopes for a long and productive working relationship between them! (I also see me having to work on less events, but only time will tell!!)
