More Thanksgiving

'Tis the season for gluttony. After consuming large amounts of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and rolls at church on Sunday, we headed directly over to Rob's parents house to consume some more of the same. I showed restraint at church in that I skipped the pie but I quickly made up for it at Jeanie's with homemade cinnamon rolls with frosting, jello with cream cheese topping and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Yikes. It was delicious! It wasn't all about the food, though. Gloria made everyone sit in the living room so we could go around the circle and say what we're thankful for. We all mentioned family and it is so true. We are blessed to be able to gather with family on a regular basis. These cousins will grow up as friends as well as family:

We played Apples to Apples after dinner and (this is probably one of those you-had-to-be-there moments) Gloria had shoved the game lid under her shirt and Kelsey quipped, "Look, Gloria's pregnant with Sponge Bob!!" It really was hilarious!! :)
