2nd Weekend, Winter Carnival Friday...

The weather was perfect for the carnival.  We learned our lesson after last year and created a pretty cozy, enclosed area with a nice big heater next to the stage.  The only thing we had to prepare for on the main stage was an evening of Karaoke. . .

That's all I had to deal with anyway.  The guys were at the skating rink preparing for a full evening of running sound and lights for a packed house. . .

I almost felt guilty that I had no pressure to deal with whatsoever. . .

 

The Karaoke stage was, um, entertaining. . .

. . . and very, very busy. . .

At the end of the day, both of the events went just beautifully.  Of course, the ice skating event was a little bit more beautiful than the Karaoke event. . .
