Easter Carols

Jody has come up with some really great and unique activities for the kids at church. A couple of months ago, she came to the Education Committee about having the kids go "Easter Caroling". I'm always up for out-of-the-box thinking and Jody is great at planning, organinzing and carrying out her ideas. All I have to do is help get the word out and sing with the kids. How tough is that?? The idea was very well recieved and the 5 homes we sang to were thrilled with the unexpected serenade.

We spent a little time at John's and Dot's since it's hard to resist the museum-like decor of their home. Dot popped everyone popcorn and the kids had a chance to walk around and see everything.



Charlie and Evelyn seemed to really enjoy the kids and took a bunch of pictures when we were through singing. Evelyn handed out candy-filled eggs to the carolers:
