Kelsey, Max and Jeffrey. . .

Even though I've been whining a lot lately about being busy, I still manage to take plenty of pictures.  Maybe I should stop doing that!?! We celebrated Kelsey's graduation at her house on Tuesday evening.  Not that my pictures or blog posts ever really make sense but I have to break this post up into three sections to really do it justice. . .

First, and most importantly, the star of the graduation party. . . Kelsey:
Jeanie made this lovely cake. . .

Secondly, my very photogenic, very, very busy, sweet little nephew. . . Max:

My apologies to everyone else at that party who didn't get a prime spot on this unusual blog post because you all mean more to me than the next subject, although he's, really, really cute and intelligent and funny!!!  So. . . last, but not least, here's . . . Jeffery:

Don't Blink. . .

This post is not about me.  Honest.  But I have to start out with this lovely picture of me that was taken just a few years ago.  OK, twenty-six years ago to be exact.  It just doesn't feel like it was that long ago.

I've been immersed in Zach's graduation planning- the cap and gown came in the mail, the diploma arrived with an official seal on it, the announcements have been mailed (albeit with the wrong date!!) and I've asked several people to be a part of it.  However. . . this post isn't about Zach either!!

Even though it seems like my sweet niece was just born yesterday (there I go with the age thing again. . . ) she graduated from Borah High School last week.  My Alma Mater.  Talk about deja vu.  Green and Gold!  Go Lions!!

So, here are the pictures from Kelsey's high school graduation!  Congrats Kelsey!!!

Business Busy-ness. . .

The older I get, the faster time flies.  I've heard that before but I didn't really believe it.  Now it feels like I get out of bed in the morning, turn a few circles and the day is suddenly over.  I lose track of time easily (just ask Gloria who spent 45 minutes in the office after school one day this week because I "forgot" her) and it feels like I can't really accomplish much of anything.  It's frustrating, to say the least.  So, in the interest of time, I probably won't be posting too much about the business on my blog this summer.  It's the same story over and over anyway: We load the truck, we set it all up, we move bands on and off of the stage for a few days, we tear it all down, we load it back in the truck and we start all over again.  I'm trying to keep up with networking the business by posting pictures on our Facebook page as well as on our business blog so it just makes sense to put a link to the other blog here rather than double posting and going on and on and on about each event.  So. . . . here are links to our last two events:

The Eagle Island Experience Festival

United Way at The Egyptian Theatre

And that's the best I can do. . .

The Weekend Experience. . .

This is where I was for the last four days:
This was our first year providing stage, roof and sound for the Eagle Island Experience and it was actually a pretty good experience!  But now I'm back home with a long, long, long to-do list and very little time to do it.  The seven hundred pictures I took over the weekend will just have to sit in my picture file for a few more days.  Or weeks.  Or months.

This week I'll be putting the rest of Zach's graduation celebration together (with my dear mother-in-law's help), setting up and running sound and lights for Gloria's end-of-year school program on Wednesday (with Rob's help, of course) and reminding myself to breathe in and out as I tackle the rest of the things on my list that seem to need my immediate attention.

Breathe in . . .
Breathe out . . .
Breathe in . . .
Breathe out . . .
