Thankfully, Kurt and his daughter came back out to help. Otherwise we'd still be there. . .
The task can feel very overwhelming when there is so much to do. You look around and can feel paralyzed by the magnitude of the job. But, just like every other process in life, you do the next thing and then the next thing and, before you know it, you've accomplished something . . .
Rob and Kurt were very meticulous when building the stage trailer- they planned it out very carefully and knew how the decks needed to be engineered in order for the stage to fold up correctly. When the time finally came for the first fold up with the decks in place, I think we all held our breath just a little. . .
Of course there was really no doubt in my mind that it would go smoothly. . . . .
The decks lined up exactly how they were meant to. Not that I ever doubted they would. . .
The winch worked perfectly even with the added weight of the plywood decks. . .
The sides matched up nicely and bolted right together. . . I knew they would. . .
I've said it before, but I'm just very impressed with the whole process. . .

The final fold went easily into place. . . of course. . .
. . . Kurt put in the final bolts, firmly attaching the entire trailer together. . .
. . . and climbed out. . .

It's a beautiful thing. . .
