This is the time of year that we celebrate a bunch of family birthdays including Kelsey (17), Zach (18) and Cody (19). . . in that order. Marr's birthday is mixed in with the kids' birthdays so she usually has to share her party with one of them! She (and Matt!) is also nice enough to share little Max with the rest of us!!

It was a lovely party even though Grandma Jeanie had to stay home with her cold germs. She was missed! Kelsey was very excited about this cute little present. It turned out to be a watch from Grandma and Grandpa. . .

It's hard to believe these cousins are growing up so fast! I sound so old and broken-record-ish when I say that but I remember the day that each one of them was born. My friend, Byron, posted an important reminder on his Facebook page this morning in celebration of his daughter's 6th birthday:
"Go now, peoples of the earth, and hug your kids for an uncomfortably long period of time."
