Events this winter have been few and far between but things are definitely starting to pick up. We have two really good events coming up this weekend that I am really looking forward to. The first one is on Friday night at the Civic Center and is a national band that we ran sound for at the Roseberry Festival in July. Cadillac Sky is a 5-piece, acoustic/bluegrass group from Texas that plays amazingly well. They have a bunch of videos on Youtube but this is a pretty good sample:
Saturday's event is in a very unique location. The band, Soul Purpose, will be playing at the BSU Skybox that overlooks the city skyline as well as the famous (?) blue turf. We had a daytime meeting there this week and I'm looking forward to the view at night!!
Gloria was lucky enough to tag along and had fun looking around the new building.
Should be a good weekend. . .
